Lets Pray

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Have you noticed non-Christians are always trying to prevent prayer.

They don’t want prayer in schools, city halls, or in public.

They say God doesn’t exist.

Why then are they afraid of my prayers?

God is real!

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

What was sin yesterday is also sin today.

Numbers 32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

The Lord Triumphant

The Lord Triumphant

As Jesus was approaching His last week of our Lord’s earthly mission, His goal now was to go to Jerusalem. He had ministered for about 3 years in the area we now call Israel and the west bank. He was well known by His deeds, and some recognized who He really was through revelation by God in their hearts, like Peter and Bartimaeus.
Our text begins as He approaches the city.
Luke 19:29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
Luke 19:30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
Luke 19:31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
Luke 19:32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
Luke 19:33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
Luke 19:34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
Luke 19:35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
Luke 19:36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
Luke 19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
Luke 19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
Luke 19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
Luke 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
Even the stones in the path would cry out in praise, if man should refuse.
This moment in history of Jesus coming into Jerusalem, had been prophesied several hundreds of years before, prophesying that Jesus would come entering Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives as King and bringing salvation.
Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Listen, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords was humbly entering Jerusalem bringing salvation for all who would believe on Him.
There was joy and praise on earth and also there was glory and praise in the highest.
God’s redeeming gift of salvation was coming to this world.
2000 years ago Jesus came riding on a colt, the salvation He was bringing was Himself. He was on His way to offer Himself at Calvary on the cross. His salvation for us was to be His death, His shedding of His blood on that cross for you and I for our forgiveness. He had no sin, but took our sin upon Himself to become sin in our stead.
2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.(NASB)
They would then place His body in a borrowed tomb and sealed it with the Roman’s seal.
That Roman’s seal could not keep Jesus in the grave. Those death clothes could not confine the Resurrection power of God. On that 3rd day, there was a greater authority than the Romans, there was a greater authority than death, God broke the seal. Jesus defeated the Roman’s seal, the death clothes were replaced with the resurrected power and the glory of God, that tomb could not hold Him, death could not hold Him. Angels had rolled the stone back, not to release Jesus but to reveal an empty tomb.
If you went to Jerusalem today and looked into that tomb, you would find no bones, The tomb is empty because my Saviour is alive, He is risen.
By His resurrection we who are saved are Justified. It’s as if we had never sinned.
One day Jesus came into Jerusalem riding a colt, but someday soon Jesus again will arrive on the mount Olive, but not on a colt. He will be coming on a white charger, a mighty white war horse with His Saints in judgement and victory..
Once again this was prophesied over 2400 years ago.
Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
And again the Apostle John tells what he saw in the Revelation of Jesus Christ on the isle of Patmus.
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
also Jude says:
Jude 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Jude 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
At that time, the armies (v14) that are following Jesus are His resurrected Saints. Jude (v14) says there will be ten thousands of His Saints.
If you’re saved, I hope you like White Horses.
Now might be a good time to place your faith in Jesus.
Trust Him for forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life with Him.

Christian Refuges

Christian Refuges

Why do I see my country willing to put our lives at risk with unvetted Muslim refuges and rejecting Christian refuges.

The same Muslim refuges we are bringing in want to kill all Christians. Christians in Syria are facing genocide and our country it seems would prefer to bring in unvetted Muslims rather than persecuted Christians, Why?

We claim to be founded on Christianity yet we allow a corrupt government side with Islamic fundamentalist rather than Christians

Christian fundamentalism(radical Christianity) favor and hold to the teaching of the Bible with an emphasis on the New Testament.

Directed by the law of Christ love, forgiveness, sacrifice, concern and prayer.

We believe in a mandatory free choice of salvation. A personal commitment. A personal discipline.

We are radical in peace.

We serve the God of creation.

Our reward is to spend eternity with God.

Islamic fundamentalism (radical Islam) favor “a literal interpretation” of the primary sources of Islam (the Quran and Sunnah)

Directed by sharia law with its stoning, decapitations, and amputations.

Women are often considered property.

There seems to be a forced commitments. You are born into it or make a life long commitment to it, you can not leave it.

They are radical by hope of conquest and the reopening of the gates of Ijtihad

Their goal is world wide sharia law.

They serve a different god.

They think their reward will be 72 virgins, its not.

Who is Allah?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
