Out of the Mouth of babes


The  Heart 

'Tomorrow  morning,' the surgeon began,
'I'll open  up your heart...' 

'You'll  find Jesus there,' the boy
Interrupted. 

The surgeon  looked up, annoyed 'I'll
Cut your  heart open,' he continued,
To see how  much damage has been
Done...' 

'but when  you open up my heart, you'll
Find Jesus  in there,' said the boy. 

The surgeon  looked to the parents, who
Sat  quietly. 'When I see how much
Damage has  been done, I'll sew your
Heart and  chest back up, and I'll plan
What to do  next.'

Should Christians be more tolerant?

A church, High Point Church in Dallas, Texas was asked to allow a memorial service for a non-member who had died to be held in their Church. The Church did offer the family, free of charge, the use of its facility for the memorial service. There was no indication at this time that the family wanted to openly celebrate the homosexual lifestyle of the deceased. The family requested that the Church produce a video to honor the deceased homosexual lifestyle with some inappropriate images of the deceased.
The Church then retracted the offer to host the memorial service based on the fact that the service requested would be an openly homosexual service celebrating the homosexual lifestyle.

Is this Church too intolerant? Is this the proper way for Christians to act?  Read on!
