THE LITTLE OLE LADY
There was a little old lady, who every morning. stepped onto her
front porch, raised her arms to the sky, and shouted: “PRAISE THE LORD!”
One day an atheist moved into the house next door. He became
irritated at the little old lady.
Every morning he’d step onto his front porch after her and yell:
“THERE IS NO LORD!”

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor – and Whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me “to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.”

Years ago a dear friend of mine said “America will be destroyed by our Religious Freedom”
Of course I disagreed because that was our nation’s founding principal. Today as I look at the Political Correctness the media and the liberal leaders of our country have led us into, I wonder if he was not making an accurate prophecy of our future.

We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don’t get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won’t do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different
Language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day
Every day..

I’m not talking about illegal Mexicans; I’m talking about our troops!
Doesn’t it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are
Willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don’t
Support our troops and are now threatening to defund them?Please pass this on; this is worth the short time it takes to read it.
