The land is Defiled

If God is watching, and I know He is,

our country is in deep trouble.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

Leviticus 18:23 Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion

Leviticus 18:24 ’Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you.

Leviticus 18:25 For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.

Leviticus 18:26 You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you

Leviticus 18:27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled),

Leviticus 18:28 lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

In the last generation of Americans, we have become a defiled land. Perhaps it started by some trying to remove Christianity from the daily lives. Becoming more secular. God’s Word for some can be like a watchdog. When you do something wrong or commit a sin your conscience bothers you. By removing all rules you can do what you desire without the consequences.

Someone once told me, ’ he didn’t believe in hell ’ It really don’t matter if you believe in hell or not. If you die without Jesus you will go there.

Sin not only defiles people, it defiles the land.

Leviticus 18:25 For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.

We have a hope. That Hope is in Jesus Christ,

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Do you have that hope in Jesus Christ?

Terrorists

Have you ever wondered why some have refused to use the term Islamic  terrorist?

Years ago I heard the term “Islamic fundamentalist” used to reference the terrorist of 911.

The understanding I have of the teaching of the Koran is to put under submission all unbelievers. If the unbeliever will not submit, then death, flee or tax.

If Mohammed was alive he would probably be very proud of ISIS and their actions.

If a person is being obedient to his or her religion, is he or she a terrorist or a fundamentalist?

From what I have understood, President Obama was raised as a Moslem. He knows the Koran, so perhaps he sees ISIS or ISIL as freedom fighters freeing the world of infidels.

I have heard some call Islam a religion of peace, Islam does not mean peace, it means submission.

Perhaps some Moslems believe when all are Moslems there will be peace. They think when the whole world is under Sharia Law there will be peace. Then even now why are the Moslems killing Moslems.

Satan, the Devil is the father of all liars he is a thief and deceiver watch that you are not decieved.

Jesus speaking in:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Jesus provides salvation even to the terrorist, if they will accept Him.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Why

Why?

Have you ever asked the question, why?

To me that question signifies a search for knowledge. Why am I here? Why do I have more than others? Why do I have less than others?

Then I started asking religious questions. Why did God send His Son to this world? His Love.(John 3:16) His mission? (John 10:10)

Sin brings forth death. (Rom.6:23) We all have sinned, (Rom.3:23) the one exception was God Himself as the sinless Son of God (2 Cor.5:21) He died for our sins.

So as I was meditating, the thought comes to me, Jesus had a mission, He was obedient through out His whole life. (Phil.2:8) He knew what was ahead of Him.

Why in the garden did He ask for the cup to be removed? (Matt.26:38, 42 ) Was Jesus afraid of the pain? I don’t believe so.

We are told in John 10:30 that He and the Father are one. In John 17:5 Jesus mentions the glory He shared with the Father before the world was. John 1:1 talks about the Word and later in John 1:14 that Word became flesh, that is Jesus.

Jesus knew the Father would have to reject the sin that would be laid upon Him on the cross. Jesus would become sin for us.( 2 Cor.5:21 )

On the cross Jesus felt for the first time in all creation a separation between Him and the Father. (Matt.27:45-46 )(forsaken)

Why did Jesus have to die?

Sin had to be paid for. He took our sins, He paid the price for us. ( Heb. 9:22 )

Man laid Him in a tomb, God raised Him from the dead proving that the debt was paid in full. He is risen.( Mark 16:5-6 )

Jesus knew He would rise again in 3 days.

I believe He also knew that memory would be eternal. Perhaps in a million years, in the new heaven and new earth, He will look at us whom He has saved, and remember that horrible feeling on the cross and say it was worth it.

( Rev.5:11-12 ) Worthy is the Lamb of God

True Christianity

I have a question for you. What is a Christian?

If you was to walk around and ask people on the street, what is a Christian, then go into a Church and ask the same question, the answers you hear would most likely be different but perhaps both wrong.

The person on the street might say a Christian is a Church goer, a party poopers, someone that is condemning them or a hater of anyone different than them.

The person in Church might say, its someone that has walked the isle and shook the preacher’s hand, maybe a Bible reader, maybe a worker in Church or they might say its someone that has believed in God.

Church going is important, making a commitment is important, Bible reading is very important, working for God really is a must and belief in God is mandatory. But what does the Bible say of a Christian, does the Word of God give us a description of what a true Christian really is? Yes, I believe it does.

I am Amazed

Did you hear that the White House is applauding a college football player’s coming out? Mrs Obama and the VP are saying how brave and inspiring the young player is to boldly proclaim his sin to all the world. The news clip I saw of him showed no remorse or shame. The media looks at this as great news and all the networks are reporting what I call a sinful lifestyle as an example of a positive and good role model. ( Isa. 5:20 )

The White House and the news media would most likely label what I am saying as hate speech. It is!
